Best fashion looks, outfits from TikTok Awards 2024

Australia’s most popular influencer has been crowned for another year – but one of the highlights of the 2024 TikTok Creator of the Year awards is all the glorious outfits.

Kat Clark, who co-hosted the prestigious social media bash, presented by CeraVe, alongside Robert Irwin at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion made a statement in a sheer green number.

But while she shone brightly on the night in her glittering number, fans were quick to point out that another TikTok star wore the exact same dress.

HI Love Island Contestant Georgia Murray shared a video ahead of her arrival on Wednesday night wearing the same outfit, with many quick to comment: “Isn’t that the same dress as Kat Clark?”

“This is the same dress as Kat Clark,” declared another.

As one mused, “Did everyone shop at the same stores?”

Others claimed the double-take was “difficult” and “embarrassing” for Clark, who was back for a second year as the supporting presenter, following her win as the 2022 TikTok Creator of the Year Award.

Fans were unfazed by the fashion faux pas, telling Clark her floor-length dress – which featured a corset top and showed off her bottom – looked “unreal”.

“You totally rocked that look! Confidence and style are on point. I can’t wait to see more from you,” said one.

“The cat! Green is your color! You look amazing!!” wrote another.

She posed on the red carpet with her family, including her husband Jonathan, eldest daughter Latisha and toddler Deja.

Latisha was wearing a strapless dress.

The body of the corset sparkled as it was covered in jewels.

It was accompanied by a velvet skirt.

She had styled her long brunette hair in loose waves.

Meanwhile Deja went for a pop of color in a pastel yellow two-piece made up of a crop top with a matching bottom.

She completed the look with fur boots.

Anna Paul, who also creates content for a subscription site popular among sex workers, wore a black one-shoulder dress for the occasion.

The dress, which gathered at the hip, had a daring slit up the leg.

The dress is custom made by Khy from Kylie Jenner.

She was fitted for the dress while in Los Angeles.

The brunette kept her hair down in a wet look and teamed the outfit with a small bag.

The international guest for this year’s event was former reality star turned pop star, Jojo Siwa.

Siwa rose to fame on the TLC show Dance Moms.

But, she has now opened her way.

Siwa, previously known for her oversized bows, made a statement at the Sydney event. Siwa was wearing a milkmaid style top and tiny shorts – with a twist.

The ensemble was covered in rainbows, rhinestones and feathers.

The singer, who identifies as lesbian, also wore similar make-up covering her eyes.

Indy Clinton, who won Creator of the Year in 2023, wore a gold mini dress.

The neck dress had a triangle cutout at the bust.

The brunette, who had her hair styled in a wet look, said she felt like a “trophy” during a live stream on the red carpet before the event kicked off with British personality Maddie Grace Jepsen.

Jepsen wore a green sequined dress.

She styled her brunette hair in an up style and paired her look with hoop earrings.

Jepsen joked during the live broadcast that she bought her dress the morning of the event after Clinton joked that her previous option was “bad.”

Internet personality Indiana Massara stood out from the crowd in a see-through black dress that exposed her bra.

The 22-year-old wore a lace, high-neck top with long sleeves that formed finger gloves.

The sheer lace exposed the black bralette she wore underneath.

Massara’s skirt was a velvet material that created a train effect behind her.

Meanwhile, Love Island 2021 star Tina Provis wore a strapless pastel pink dress with a chunky gold necklace adorned with green gemstones.

Fellow reality star Tahnee Cook, who appeared on married at first sight also chose a pink dress.

Actress Chloe Hayden, known for her role on Netflix High heartacheshe was wearing a pink, red and purple high neck dress.

She teamed the look with Doc Marten book heels and bold makeup.

Her bright red hair was braided for the occasion.

Meanwhile, singer Peach PRC continued her fairy-like outfits that she has become synonymous with by wearing a pink and pastel green winged bralette.

She paired the look with a pink satin skirt with tulle overlay.

The skirt had a dramatic cut on the side, allowing a glimpse of her thigh.

She paired the look with large jewelry.

Australian swimmer Keira Stephens ditched her swimsuits and opted for a much more glamorous look for the prestigious event.

She wore a figure-hugging black dress with a plunging neckline.

The neckline was white and had precious stones.

She had her blonde hair styled straight and wore a delicate bracelet that matched the silver on her dress.

Meanwhile, host Irwin went for an all-black look.

The double-breasted jacket had a unique design on it, bringing a playful element to the otherwise serious look.

However, the conservationist and photographer told news.com.au he was “sweating” and “would rather be in his khakis”.

Jane Lu, the woman behind popular brand Showpo, also went for an all-black look for the event. She wore a body style top with a see-through cover-up.

The dress sparkled under the lights and had a daring neckline.

Lu teamed the look with statement earrings, chunky bracelets and a silver clutch.

Elle Ray, who is nominated for 2024 Designer of the Year, is no stranger to turning heads on red carpets.

She stole the show while hosting TikTok’s coverage of the AFL’s Brownlow Medal night.

Now, she has gone for a metallic silver dress.

The strapless gown featured a plunging neckline that ended just before her navel.

She had her brunette hair styled in loose waves to frame her face.

Another former TikTok star Love Island contestant Georgia Murray appeared to be wearing the same dress as many fans pointed out, including one social media user saying: “Isn’t that the same dress as Kat Clarwhat?” georgia.murrayyyy/TikTok

Maddy Macrae, who is also up for the same award, donned a bold fuchsia ball gown for the awards ceremony.

Her strapless gown had a simple bodice so the dramatic tiered, tulle skirt made a statement.

The red-headed comedian wore pink pointy heels.

Her long hair was styled straight and she wore simple earrings.

Bridey Drake, best known for documenting the ups and downs of running a pajama business, took home the night’s top prize – and opted for a simple white dress with a blue pattern for the occasion.

The top of the corset flowed into a large skirt.

Her blonde hair was styled in tight curls.

Cap necks seemed to be a theme of the night.

Starr McG, known for her comedic content on the platform, wore a plunging red dress.

The low-cut dress also featured ribbing under the bust and a slit up the thigh.

She teamed the look with a small red bag and even coordinated her nails with her accessories.

Millie Ford, the first Australian winner of the 2021 TikTok Creator of the Year, wore a blood orange dress to the event.

The dramatic mini dress was one-shoulder and featured a long cape that flowed down the back.

She paired the sparkle of her dress with simple yet bold gold accessories.

Former reality star Brooke Blurton was also in attendance.

Blurton wore a black vinyl mini dress for the event.

She paired the dramatic dress with pointed heels.

In a reverse move to Ford, Blurton went with chunky silver accessories.

Internet personality Ariella Nyssa stood out from the crowd in her pastel blue dress.

The dress had a bold cut that exposed most of her midriff.

The bodice of the dress featured a curve in the middle of her bust.

She wore sandal heels and styled her hair in waves.

The Alright Hey comedian, whose real name is Matt, didn’t disappoint in a themed dress that had a satin wrap around it.

The podcaster also wore pointed heels and dazzling silver jewelry.

Tatenda Luna is a beauty content creator.

She did not disappoint.

The blonde, who was just at a Fenty Beauty event on Tuesday, kept her hair and makeup simple so as not to distract from her mystical outfit.

The pastel blue gown, which transitioned from light to dark, flowed into a tiered tulle skirt.

Nichole Mitrov, who appeared in FBoy Island season two, was accompanied by her partner Jack Johnson.

The brunette wore a lemon dress with a dramatic plunging neckline.

The dress also featured a daring thigh-high split.

Designer Kishama Meridian also opted for tulle in her outfit, as did many of the stars who walked the event’s red carpet.

She went for a silver button-down blouse that featured a black shirt.

She then paired it with a beautiful silver tulle skirt.

There are 13 awards in total at the event, nominees included comedian Maddy Macrae, Gen Z personality Elle Ray, entrepreneur Bridey Drake, Josh and Matt Design and Jojo ASMR.

Other categories include Video of the Year, Business of the Year, Sports & Fitness Creator of the Year, Food Creator of the Year and TikTok for Good.

Last year, Abbie Chatfield’s strapless dress caused a stir across the country due to its “plunge” design.

The 2023 awards presenter stole the show at the annual event alongside Tony Armstrong.

Her white dress had a corset style top that showed off her bust.

Meanwhile, the bottom of her dress was frayed.

Social media collectively swooned over Chatfield’s glamorous looks at the time.

“God you are so amazing and hilarious,” one person commented.

Another said: “Oh, forget Marilyn Monroe.”

“OMG you are everything! What a baaaaaabe”, commented another.

One added: “You looked stunning last night! Thanks for taking a picture with me.”

“Loving this fit,” added another.

“You looked really hot and you did a great job working with the material you had,” commented another social media user.

Another said: “That dress and you two are just stunning!”

One said Chatfield was “the star of the show”.
